Every yacht is different. Choose the systems you want to see, arrange them in the order that makes sense on board and give each Node a clear name. The App adapts to installations ranging from a single Node to a complete Smarter.Yachts system.
Always familiar.
The same interface follows you from phone to tablet and from one connected system to the next. Crew members do not need to learn a different control concept for every piece of equipment — Smarter.Yachts keeps access consistent while each Node retains its purpose-built controls.
Select a Node and its complete Node V2 interface opens directly inside the App. There is no separate control layer to learn: the same purpose-built interface, live status information, configuration and safety logic remain available.
More than remote control.
The App does not reproduce or simplify the Node interface. It connects you directly to the Node itself. New Node V2 features therefore become available in the App without requiring a separate user interface.
One interface across your yacht.
Generator is shown here as one example. The same concept applies across the supported Node V2 Operation Modes — including gangway, tenderlift, windlass, furlers, valves, pumps, switching and dive compressor.
Direct. Local. Familiar.
Node communication takes place directly over your yacht network. No cloud connection is required for normal local operation.
The App automatically discovers compatible Node V2 devices on the yacht network. Nodes can also be added manually, arranged in the preferred order and individually selected for display in the App.
Discovery keeps commissioning simple: available Nodes appear on the network scan and can be added to the App without entering addresses manually. For fixed installations or special network configurations, a Node can still be added directly by hostname or IP address.
Once configured, the App remembers the device order and which Nodes should be visible. Master Nodes and their associated Slave Nodes remain grouped as part of the same onboard system, giving crew a clean overview instead of a list of unrelated network devices.
Node provides distributed, local control directly at the equipment. Dash adds the central orchestration and monitoring layer. The Smarter.Yachts App is the mobile frontend that gives the user access to both.
This keeps the architecture flexible: a yacht can start with one or more Nodes and the App, then add Dash when centralized monitoring, coordination and remote access are required.
Internet access is not required for local Node operation. The App communicates directly with Smarter.Yachts devices on the yacht network.
